January update
A new semester has begun, and we have some new things to announce:
First off I’d like to point out that we still have lockers available, come to the CSSA lounge at E1 - 586 and find an executive for information on purchasing one.
The CS games are fast approaching and will be held the weekend of February 24th to the 26th, they’re still looking for teams especially from other west-Canadian universities. If anyone knows students from those western Canadian universities send them the challenge and let them know about it. More information on the cs games can be found on their website www.csgames.org and anyone looking to help out can visit their volunteer information page.
In addition there will be a CS games social held on February 24th, information on this will be posted soon so check back here or come to the lounge.
We have a general meeting coming up Tuesday, January 31st at 1:00 pm in E2-105. This meeting is open to anyone interested and we would love to hear your input, this is also an opportunity to ask questions to your executives about anything concerning the CSSA.
We are in need of a logo for the CSSA. If anyone is confident with graphic design and is interested in helping us to design a logo please email us at cssa@cs.umanitoba.ca .
Please remove all personal foods from the fridge.
We plan on defrosting it over the winter break. Anything left will be tossed out.
December General Meeting
The next General Meeting will be held Thursday December 1, 1p.m. in E2-105. If you can’t attend, you can give your proxy vote to someone who will be there (a signed note will suffice for this).
